That friend who you may not see very often, but the moment you reconnect feels like yesterday..
I didn’t saw my friends for a long time, and we decided to spend an unforgettable weekend in Croatia, in one beautiful city near Zadar, Sukosan. Sukosan is a small town located just 10 km from Zadar, in a nice, wide bay known as Zlatna Luka (Golden Harbour). Another advantage of this small Dalmatian town is the vicinity of five well-known national parks and two nature parks of which the most known are the National Park Kornati, National Park Paklenica, Plitvice Lakes National Park and nature parks Telascica, Vrana Lake and Velebit.
The first day when we came, we went to Sukošan Harbor to have some drink, swim and play beach vollleyball, it was so funny and extraordinary expirience! The next day we rent a boat and went on a Boat Tour to Kornati Islands.
The Kornati National Park is often mentioned as “nautical paradise” in tourist publications. The Kornati archipelago of Croatia, also known as the Stomorski islands, is located in the northern part of Dalmatia, south from Zadar and west from Šibenik, in the Šibenik-Knin county. With 35 kilometres (22 miles) length and 140 islands, some large, some small, in a sea area of about 320 square kilometres (124 sq mi), the Kornati are the densest archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea.From northwest to southeast (from the island of Balabra to Samograd), and from northeast to southwest (from Gangarol to Mana) they stretch for 13 km (8 miles). The name of the archipelago is the plural form of the name of the largest island, called Kornat. Beautiful nature and perfect colored Adriatic sea attract tourists from Europe and all over the world.
Even though we could only stay a short time, we had a wonderful time!
